Study and lifestyle. You can have both!
When you study in Dunedin, you get the best of both worlds. Our Dunedin campus has bright open spaces, modern infrastructure and is just a short walk away from the central city – everything you need for learning and life.
Dunedin is an ideal student city and home to about 30,000 tertiary students. It's vibrant and safe, and a welcoming place to study, live and work.
It might be small, but this city has something for everyone. Innovative, creative and at the forefront of global trends, Dunedin is New Zealand’s incubator for IT, entrepreneurship and fashion.
The Warehouse Precinct is the place to go for cool craft breweries, restaurants, sustainable grocers, bakeries and cafés. Creatives and tech start-ups have their headquarters here, and it's the home of the Dunedin branch of SIGNAL ICT Grad School. Marvel in the beauty and craftsmanship of the Chinese Garden and learn the history of the region at Toitū Otago Settlers Museum.
Every March, Dunedin hosts iD Dunedin Fashion Week – one of New Zealand’s most exciting fashion festivals. The city's robust arts and culture pedigree is on display year-round, and it's the only centre in New Zealand to be recognised internationally as a UNESCO City of Literature.
Make the most of the city's great shopping, awesome gigs and eateries. Explore the spectacular scenery, sandy beaches and rare wildlife.
Study in Dunedin and breathe in the city’s unique and distinctive style.
