Performance Analysis

Work with players and coaches to analyse performance and identify ways to improve it.

 

Physical Conditioning

Apply thinking from sports science and sports medicine to support athletes and establish optimal training schedules.

 

Exercise
Leadership

Use advanced exercise prescription knowledge to help others be physically active for health, wellbeing, recovery and function.

 

PROGRAMMES

Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Science

  • Dunedin
  • Six months full-time; twelve months part-time
  • Level 8
  • Starts February
  • Apply until start date

This qualification will help you extend and deepen your knowledge and understanding of the underpinning base theories and procedures that are relevant to the practice environment. This programme has specialties in Performance Analysis, Physical Conditioning or Exercise Leadership.

Postgraduate Diploma in Applied Science

  • Dunedin
  • One year full-time; two years part-time
  • Level 8
  • Starts February
  • Apply until start date

The qualification will help you extend and deepen your knowledge of the underpinning base theories and procedures used in the practice environment, in a wider and more encompassing scope than a postgraduate certificate. This programme has specialties in Performance Analysis, Physical Conditioning or Exercise Leadership.

Master of Applied Science

  • Dunedin
  • 18 months full-time; three years part-time
  • Level 9
  • Starts February
  • Apply until start date

Master theoretical and procedural subject matter through a body of scholarly applied work and prepare for an academic career or a lead sport or exercise management role. This programme has specialties in Performance Analysis, Physical Conditioning or Exercise Leadership.
